Rataquill Bait Block is a powerful rodenticide, containing 0.005% Brodifacoum made of high-quality food grade ingredients that kills rats and mouse in a single feed. Rataquill has been designed to control Norway rats, Roof rats and House mice with a selective and balanced rodent diet, making it an exceptional bait for residential and commercial infestations. Place Rataquill Bait Blocks in areas where rats and mice travel often and most likely find and consume the bait blocks. A useful tip is to place the bait along walls, corners, gnawed openings, around burrows. For Norwat Rats and Roof Rats, eliminate as much of naturally occurring food as possible within the treatment area. Since roof rats are excellent climbers, place Rataquill upper stories of structures. Take note that the range approximately of both species is 15 to 100m from their nesting area.

1.  Although, mice are curious, in general terms, rats and mice, they will not tend to visit bait stations, if those stations are not located strategically or in other words, conveniently in areas where rodents have been spotted. Position bait stations between rodent’s food source and their refuge.
2. Place bait stations near rodent burrows, along their travel routes, against walls, etc.
3. Always, look for signs of rodent activity to identify sites for place bait stations, such as: gnawing, droppings, rub marks, etc.
4. Rats are skeptical (suspicious) of unfamiliar objects, so it is important to introduce first the bait stations in the area, once rats become familiar with this new object, place the bait inside the stations. Please be advice to use proper PPE (Gloves).
5. Use correct sized bait stations according with the species of rodent, to avoid rats gnaw mouse sized stations and expose Rataquill Bait Block to non-target animals.
6. Avoid placing Rataquill Bait Block in extreme hot conditions areas expose to late afternoon sunshine, since bait stations will increase their internal temperature (around 20 to 30% hotter than surrounding air) melting the bait blocks.
7. Replace weak or broken bait stations that have been expose to direct sunlight before re-filling them.
8. Provide enough Rataquill Bait Block for rodents to eat sufficiently.
